The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil

I found a link in a friend's journal (TK) and when I red the other person's journal, I couldn't just looked away. I will give you the link after I said a word.

If you know me personally, you'll know I am a lesbian. (if you didn't, now you know)
I am not ashamed of it at all. I don't mind holding hands and such. I love my fiancée very much and, like a straight person, I will love her and cherish her all my life.

Little story:
#1
When I was in Toronto with friends and holding my lover close to me, a strange man flew right between us with rage. He hurt her on the shoulder, but, even if we try to reach for the man, he never turned to say sorry.

I even quit my job because my manager was a jerk. First, I think he had a problem with women, so just imagine when I didn't have a choice, but to tell him about me being with a girl. He was worst after that. I've gotten a sick leave because of him and just recently, in November, I gave them my paper to quit.

All to say I am so sad that there are still people out there that doesn't like "us".

Even I've gotten yelled at in public just for giving one of my friends a hug. Just because my friend was a girl. Are friends not allowed to hug if they're the same gender?

This saddens me greatly. Words are short to describe how very little patience I have with intolerant people like them...

My best friend of 10 years is gay and if I ever was to find him all beat up one day because ignorant homophobes had nothing better to do with their time than to repress their own confusion with abuse, I...would totally lose it.

I think it's only natural that you display affection toward your fiancée in public, you love her, what's the problem then? Love is a beautiful thing and there's no reason to hide any aspect of it.

It's 2010, I think it's about time that all the different kinds of unnecessary hate comes to a stop. I joined the group.

Je te comprend tellement. Avant de rencontrer mon chum, j'ai sortie avec une fille.(je suis bi) ..bon la fille m'a utilisee mais bon. J'ai ete battue a l'ecole a cause de ca, y'a de monde qui me detestais.

Mon meilleur ami gay, son pere la sacrer dehors de chez eux en apprenant justement que sont fils etais gay.

Je deteste le monde qui sont trop refermer et "simple minded", qui comprenne pas et qui pense que de nous faire mal, ca va arranger quelque chose. C'est vraiment horrible. Le monde font rien parce que,j'sais pas encore pourquoi, mais ont dirais que d'etre gay,lesbienne ou bi c'est pas encore "socialement accepter". Ce qui est vraiment con.

J'ai join le groupe, je sais que j'ai deja changer la vue de certaine personne sure l'homosexualite, don ma mere. Ma grand-mere par exemple, ca j'm'essayerais meme pas.
